Background

Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) is a leading non-profit, independent IB World School. Curriculum

"WAB is setting new standards for international education around the world. The school offers the International Baccalaureate programme from Early Years through to High School, including the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. The Early Years curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. The Swiss curriculum is available to students in Pre-K to Grade 5. 

"We also offer a wide variety of flexible pathways to graduation, in which individual students can work with their parents, teachers and counsellors to create a programme that fits their specific learning needs."

Fees

Fees for the 2023/2024 academic year range from RMB 138,000 for Early Years to RMB 355,000 for Grades 11 and 12. Parents will be delighted to know that these tuition fees include transportation, China studies field trips and extracurricular activities. 

Tuition fees are payable annually. There is also a non-refundable application fee of RMB 2,100 per applicant.
