Background

Built in 1998, UISG is an established international school in the greater Guangzhou area. The school’s campus is modern, spacious and well-equipped, with most classrooms and facilities overlooking a tranquil lakeside environment. UISG is one of only a few international schools worldwide to offer mother-tongue instruction, with six mother-tongue classes in operation within the mainstream curriculum; students are encouraged to remain bilingual through classes in Chinese, German, French, Korean and Japanese, among others. Extracurricular sports include rugby, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and soccer, and a host of private music lessons are available at all levels. The visual and dramatic arts are available as school subjects up to IB Diploma level.

Curriculum

The school is a fully authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) school and offers the PYP, MYP and DP programmes. Mother-tongue lessons are available in five languages for students aged 7 to 18.

Fees

Fees for the 2023/2024 academic year range from RMB 117,600 to RMB 261,120 depending on the child's year group.

Utahloy is situated in Baiyun, about 20 minutes from the city centre.
