I will try and keep this simple! ... I live in Spain but am moving to France in the next couple of months. A Spanish friend is selling a car which I would like to buy. I want to know if it is possible to buy it just as I am leaving Spain, and do the transfer of ownership and registration in France, or is it absolutely necessary to do this in Spain and then reregister it in France? Thank you!
